If you can find it, try some Margarita Pepperoni - that's the brand name. Best I've ever had

Awesome looking pizza.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Sure looks like a mighty fine pie, add some fresh garlic and you are in my sweet spot. Question though....I usually us a thin cut Boar's Head (I like the bigger diameter on mine), and love the flavor. I generally put it directly on top of the sauce....before the cheese layer. The Margarita Pepperoni you show is what I would say is a more traditional size.....what about the flavor sets it apart for you?Ellijay GA with a Medium & MiniMax

loogs great from here. good pepperoni is the stuff that cups and holds the tasty pepperoni juice

It Just seems to pack a stronger pepperoni taste - almost like a more robust wine. It is also quite salty. They gave me whole pieces so I sliced myself. I'd prefer a thinner cut but knife skills are not my strong suit, northGAcock said:Sure looks like a mighty fine pie, add some fresh garlic and you are in my sweet spot. @THEBuckeye what time and temp did you cook at? How hot was the stone if you were able to measure it? Still looking for the best technique.Pittsburgh, PA - 1 LBGE

Nice pizza, may do some this weekend!
-
I had the Egg at 550 dome and placed the stone and let it heat up for 15-20 minutes a side. By the time I opened the Egg to place the stone and slide on the pizza the temp dropped to 475-500. Cooked for approx 8 minutes. Would have preferred a bit crispier crust!xiphoid007 said:@THEBuckeye what time and temp did you cook at? How hot was the stone if you were able to measure it? I'd destroy that. Lately I have been guilty of way too many toppings on my pies, need to get back to basics. great job

Nicely done. I'm still perfecting pizza cooks. I'm close, but not quite there yet.
Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

@THEBuckeye - That looked insane....AND for what it's worth, I live in Marietta and hit 48th St Italian Mkt all the time, and a full blooded Italian, it's the ONLY Italian Mkt I will use. It is hard to get out of there without spending some $$$, but all their product is the legit real deal! Nice job on that pie!
