Chicken hard to screw up

Is it just me or are chicken thighs, with skin and bone in, the best chicken? Sorry just the end result but indirect at 250 untill 160, then direct till done. Made a marinade with mustard, horseradish, maple syrup,apple cider vinegar. Used Hickory chips sparingly.

Yes, and maybe my favorite thing off the Egg. -
I agree 100%! My new favorite sauce for chicken thighs is an Alabama white sauce. I just season with salt & pepper and add the sauce at the table.
Recipe
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup apple juice
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish from a jar (either in vinegar or creamy)
1 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon finely ground cayenne pepper

Since chicken thighs need to be cooked to a little higher temp than breasts, they are far more more forgiving. I love raised direct at 400 Or so for the super crispy skin.
