I've mostly just used canned Muir Glen pizza sauce or canned San Marzanos for convenience.  I like your idea of making a big batch and freezing.  Then you can just put a bag in the fridge when you make the doughs so it is ready to go.

Sauce cans are 15 oz so the single.recipe will be a lil shy..batch and adding the extra can is perfect. 4 cans sauce ttl. They sauce is volcanic thick..be careful ........6 bayleaves for the full 30 will overpower the sauce..be sure to taste.

This made me laugh @paqman, I didn't think of the post count, just thought he was talking to himself.

Sauce sounds good Auce.  Be careful, you know people will think you're a little crazy if you go around mumbling to yourself.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Ok, I just made a triple batch of the sauce and it is excellent.  I can't wait to try it on a pizza tomorrow.  I have 4 dough balls on an overnight rise in the fridge.  Hell, if the Blackhawk win tonight, I might fire a celebratory pie!

    Thanks again @auce !

I gotta admit that I was a bit skeptical with the fennel, celery, and parmesan, but I'll definitely do this again based on the first tasting and haven't even cooked a 'za yet!

However, if you are making a single batch, the recipe calls for 8 ounces.  The smaller sauce cans are 8 ounces. This is what the recipe calls for.
