Mrs. C said she wanted shrimp for dinner. I was busy in the workshop and didn't get a fire started until late. So I kept it simple.
Some grilled veggies, and shrimp. And a sweet potato in the oven (didn't have time to do this on the egg).
Some zuke, tomato, onion, mushrooms with S&P and EVOO. Shrimp in the bowl with some seasoning mix. Waiting for the fire to come to temp.
Here are the veggies getting some color on the Baking Steel. Indirect, temp about 450.

Once they were done, the veggies were roughly chopped, some roasted red pepper added, then mixed with EVOO, lemon juice, fresh basil, thyme, mint and parsley and some feta on top.
Then shrimp go on the steel. It's great for quick sears. About a minute per side.

And finally, ready to eat. A nice SA pilsner went nicely with this.

All I want for Christmas is one of those baking steels full of shrimp. I'll leave the lump out. Christmas is later this week, right?
