I guess I wasn't paying attention a few weeks ago when corn starch crispy chicken was being discussed. Now I've got a hankerin' for it.

<p />DancesWithSmoke,[p]Make sure chix got skin. Add some cornstarch (half cup?) and half as much rub in ziplock with maybe 10 drums. Close seal. Shake it like they do in the movies.[p]Pull pieces out with tong. Put on grill (and close dome of course) at about 325-350 turning until brown and crispy. Will taste like fried chicken. These were smoked with a chunk-o-guava and some JD pellets.[p]Enjoy!

DancesWithSmoke,[p]the fat from the skin works with the CS to form crispy-crunchy ness. wait 'till they get nice and brown. Th Egg seems to keep the dark meat really moist even when I over cook them a bit.[p]Have fun and report back.[p]We've had 40 days of rain over here! Yikes![p]Greg

will this work on whole chickens as well? The butcher didn't cut my chickent today and I'm to "Chicken" to attempt it myself LOL
