I just bought a cast iron plate setter!!! I'm excited!!! Hopefully I wont break this one.

I was really temped to pick up the CI platesetter, but ended up going with the AR instead because it offered more cooking set ups. While I love my AR, I still find myself dreaming of the CI platesetter from time to time. It seems like the ideal tool for a great reverse seat on a big old cowboy ribeye.

If you get the bayou classic reversible griddle, you have cast iron capability on the AR for reverse searing. I got mine at Absco Fireplace store. Everything is 10% off thru Tuesday. So I got it for $99 instead of $110.
