Nest Handler Question
Boileregger
Posts: 614
I'm moving across the country in a couple of weeks and I thought a nest handler might help keep the movers from shattering my egg.
Two questions...my nest obviously pre dates the nest handler because it only had one of the two holes for the bolts. It still feels sturdy, but just wondering if anyone has ever had an issue with this.
Second, there is an extra piece not mentioned in the instructions...anyone know what that is for??

The extra piece is a crossbar for the nest by the wheels.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

I would drill the missing hole and add the bolt ... without it you're giving up a lot of the strength in the handler. You want to pull the egg with the handler and that's the direction that the extra bolt adds the most strength.

I already have a crossbar on the rear wheels. Is this truly extra for me then?Ozzie_Isaac said:The extra piece is a crossbar for the nest by the wheels.

Instructions say you don't need to add the crossbar if it has one but I put it on and now have one front and back.Lbge and MiniMax in Southern Manitoba
