PAM High Temperature Cooking spray

Anyone used this before on their Egg grill? I used it in the past on my old weber, but the Egg does not appear to like it. My foods don't stick to the grill when used, but it sure produces a ton of smoke. Not going to use it going forward to help keep the pillows of smoke from filling up my whole back porch/yard, and burning my eyes...

If I'm using the stainless grate, and doing something that likes to stick, like chicken wings, I'll use a little spray olive oil. Otherwise I don't bother.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

I use it on a somewhat regular basis on my SS grate after it has been somewhat cleaned of baked on crud which I don't want to cause to rip the skin off of chicken wings and parts. One SERIOUS bit of advice for newbies though...do not spray PAM or a similar knock off directly into a burning fire in your BGE!!! That is like asking to have your face burnt!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

If I am egging fish I will let the grid get hot and scrub with a some balled up AF then use the grill gripper to remove the grid and spray with Pam. Never spray directly over the fire.-----------------------------------------analyze adapt overcome2008 -Large BGE. 2013- Small BGE and 2015 - Mini. Henderson, Ky.

I use a kitchen tissue paper soaked in olive oil and then use my spatula to dab the tissue on the cooking grid. This ensures that food doesn't stick to the grid.LBGE & MiniOrlando, FL

Oil the food instead of the cooking grid.
