7500 kilometers later!

Yep seven and a half thousand kilometer to bring these girls together!

The one on the left is Miss Melbourne, was a 1600 kilometer trip done  in one day, came without a platesetter and was in desperate need of a clean burn, only i didn't know about clean burns or voc's till after about the third rather "full" flavoured cook. She has the vertical thermometer from factory.
The one on the right, Miss Sydney, was brought to Australia by a family from Canada, came with plate setter, and a heap of accessories , most of which i don't think had been used. That was a two thousand kilometer trip.
Miss Brisbane, in the middle was owned by an American, who started an American BBQ resteraunt in Brisbane . That was  four thousand kilometer trip!
I'm probably going to have to fly to New Zealand , if I want to get my hands on a Mini Max!

G'day- That's a serious commitment to getting BGE's.  I was fortunate enough to spend a year "down-under" anchored in Canberra and visit throughout including those wonderful cities.  Hell of a boondoggle.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

boondoggle?!, had to look up the definition =) , I live in the desert, you expect me stick crappy  red coloured KJ's or black oil drum KJ's on my deck, no way.
Besides, nothing better than driving around OZ, you said so yourself.
The Brissy trip involved spending three days with the kids on Gold Coast at the theme parks, fantastic beef ribs at Smoke Resteraunt. Driving through the Waranbungles, catching up with family.
That trip ticked all the boxes my friend.

Speaking of family, I recently scored a fourth one ,  which I sold to my brother, so now we compare cooking techniques and recipies!
That was 3000kms away, but only 300 from his place.
Couldn't face another long trip just yet.
