Loving my BGE Steaks Tonight!

My steaks are not nearly as large as cookn biker posted earlier today, pretty wimpy in comparison...  But none the less delicious in my opinion, and family loved them as well of course.  Next time I will get some photos of the plating, we get so
hungry when the food is done, the camera is the last thing on my mind. Plus the table I made up for the LBGE, I need a round patio stone, and I will also raise the bottom shelf one more notch, or I might get the table feet, not 100% sure yet...

hey great looking steaks and nice table modification.  I would like to know more about where you got it/had the hole cut.  Where in the yyz are you from?  I'm pretty close to Pearson.

Hey BigWader, I'm in the beach area of Toronto, I bought the table on Kijiji used, its a really heavy duty table, I think it is 12 gauge Stainless Steel.  I thought I was going to cut the hole myself, but decided to find someone to cut it with a plasma cutter, its really tough stuff to cut with a jigsaw everyone kept telling me, so I went the plasma way.  I'm really happy with the table and the results.

Nice steaks. The family eventually gets used to waiting for plated pics. You just gotta break them in. I've let my boys cook a couple of times and they know it's all about the presentation so last step before eating is take the pic.  Now extended family gatherings are still interesting. ;)

Nice job on the steaks.  The stack of wood behind your table bids the question, "do you have a stick burner?"

Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

Thanks for the compliments guys! Still a newbie with my egg! Presentation is key, you are correct Jason.  Never heard the term stick burner Terry, I like it!  I have a fire pit if that is what you mean by stick burner?  I also make chunks of wood for the BGE from that pile of cherry wood.
I am having a hard time with posting peoples handles, every time I insert one in the comments, it doesn't post, thats why I am using your names in my posts.
