Can't get rid of underbite...

I have a LBGE, and all was well until last week when I tried to cook pizza on it for the first time.  Ever since then I've had an exaggerated underbite and not matter that I do I can't get it fixed.  Anyoone have any recommendations based off the pictures?

    Anybody at all have any advice?  I've tried everything I can find here on the forum, and still can't get t fixed...

    I had a similar problem with my large last week.  Turns out that when I loosened the nut closest to the egg at the base of the spring (the last of your photos) just a little bit, it allowed the lid to settle back to where it needs to be.  One side was too tight.  Everything is fine now.

    That makes sense, since it's wearing the paint off of that part of the hinge.  I'll give that a shot and see where it gets me.
