I love the Mal breed.  Well them and Duchies.  I've had Mals over 22 yrs and we are definitely a Mal household (well that and our kitties ^~^ ).  If you are interested in a new Mal Family member PM me and I can get you in contact with some fantastic folks that can help.

I was a k-9 handler for many years and my second dog was a Mal.  We are a no pet family right now because the kids won't take the responsibility and I don't have the time.  But I appreciate the offer.  It is a good breed, when mine male was a pup we took him to the school to socialize him.  I had him so friendly it was amazing.  When we were in the car though, different story....he would work like no other dog I had ever seen.  I actually had him trained as a passive alert drug dog, very rare considering how active and hyper that breed tends to be.

Very nice meal, nphuskerfl.  The chicken looks great and those potatoes look particularly appetizing.  HuskerMaMa did you proud.
