Brisket Chili

I know I'm double-dipping by showing the same brisket I made Sunday, but I took the advice of the sages of the forum and repurposed the leftovers as chili last night. The family said it was the best chili they ever ate and I was mighty impressed by how much flavor was locked into what I thought was hopelessly dry meat.

I did the same with my first Brisket which came out dry. My family had the same opinion. A couple weeks later we thawed some regular ground beef chili and everyone said it just wasn't as good as the brisket chili.Raleigh NC, Large BGE and KJ Joe Jr.

Dude, using brisket for chili - very good but why on earth did you have rice under the chili?

Brisket chile is the best I've ever made. Rice under or beside some chile is a wonderful thing. Kind of like toping it with cheese, sour cream, and green onions. Also more filling and goes further.Hood Stars, Wrist Crowns and Obsession Dobs!

It looks great. One of my fav's is using it to stuff a baked potato.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
