First, I am not sure having grease on a fire like that is safe... but you are a big boy so, whatever..

And Nothing goes better with my BGE'ed burgers than a big chocolate milkshake made with one of my 3 milkshake mixers.  Well, 2 actually, one is in the process of being rebuilt.  The first is a Hobart 1997-ish commercial 3-head mixer.  The second is a 1945-ish Lemon yellow 3-head mixer (rebuilt/rewired a couple of years ago) and the 3rd (being rebuilt)  is a late-1940/early 50's 5-head mixer that came out of the Woolworth's in Louisville, OH when it closed...  It has a couple of mixers that need the bearings replaced. The motor (1/2HP) still runs great.

Thanks for reminding me about blanching @DMW I blanched some asparagus and then threw it on the grill during the sear on my reverse sear tonight. It was my best asparagus yet. Not stringy at all. Thanks again sir.

looks great! I am too afraid to try to fry over an open fire. I picked up an induction burner to use with a CI dutch oven for my frying needs. Perfect temp control and no fear of a spill going up in flames.
