Auburn, AL BBQ Competition

I know some of us in Alabama and parts of Georgia had discussed trying to get a competition together at some point. Auburn has organized Boda Getta BBQ as a local competition and fund raiser for local city schools. It isn't eggs only but obviously that is what will win the contest as we all know! There is an amateur and professional division. Amateur teams are $200 and professional are $250. The event is May 8-9 at the University Station RV Resort which is a great venue. This'll be the third annual Birmingham Eggfest. I have participated in the first two events at Ross Bridge, but this year they have moved to Regions Park. It's a fun event.

I wish I would have known about the events at Ross Bridge! Where is Regions Park? I guess I could look it up but where is the fun in that. We are going to really try to at least just attend.
