The inside face has moisture drops. Shame on me for leaving it outside. In the meantime, the Brisket is at hour 6.
Is the ThermoPop toast? I'm getting some gooblygook but cannot read a temp. Battery perhaps?

I'd pull the battery and then maybe dry it out with a hair dryer on mediumTHANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Same as a wet cellphone, pull battery, place in sealed container with raw rice for 3 days

My dog actually used his tail to knock over a Solo Cup of water onto my Macbook. Boom.Chowman said:Same as a wet cellphone, pull battery, place in sealed container with raw rice for 3 days
Using rice, three days later, it fired right up. Talk about relief.New Albany, Ohio -
Serves you right for having water in a red solo cup. Rookie.

@THEBuckeye interested to see if you saved the thermopop? Also, how did the brisket turn out?

If your Thermopop is still wonky after drying it out, I'd call Thermoworks. From what I hear, they have excellent customer service.They/Them

zip loc bag + dessicant (silica gel or sodium sulphate). Or vacuum desiccator. Or mild heat (120F). Or atmosphere in outer space. Or foodsaver marinator.

+1. Forget the rice and whatnot if it was recently purchased, and they will likely replace it without any hassle.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
@DMW - I thought your use of the word "wonky" was just made up slang.
After looking up the definition it fits perfectly in your sentence. I normally wouldn't look up definitions for trivial forum posts, but that's what I'm doing while I'm studying for an exam. I looked up your word just because.
I think I'm a little wonky right now
