OT- bluetooth speaker review

Last year around this time I bought a block rocker bluetooth speaker at Costco. For a 140 bucks I thought It would be worth a try. After buying it, 3 of my buddies have them now . sounds pretty good. the thing last forever on a charge. The bluetooth range is about 100 foot. Comes with a Aux input, mic input , usb charging ports, am-fm and a tablet holder. This is my first bluetooth speaker.I didn't know till after I bought it you can control the volume with your phone not  just the knob on the speaker. The wheels help with bulkiness,  but I never really use them.  fm radio worked just ok . But my boy broke the antenna. I've used it alot. Pretty much lives in my van. If your looking for a cheaper solution then alot of other stuff on the market maybe give it a try.

    Haha somewhere around 140 but that says a year ago.

    hahaha.. you know im joking. Anyways i was looking at Bose Soundlink 2 months ago, by the reviews it looks pretty decent at that size.

    ETA: Also, it's the same price at Costco, currently. It's out of stock, though.

    Picked one up for a Franklin Black Friday.  Looking forward to pi$$ing off campers this year.   =)

    The mic needs to be upgraded, but other than that, it's solid.  

    Taking it to the new drive-in Bluegrass, IA this weekend.  

    My friend bought the one with the lights.  There is an app to pulse the lights to the song.

    i know... and it depends who gets your ticket... i tried to cancel an order last year and they told me to f* off.. even when i email them 10 minutes after the "your package is getting ready to be send" . i got stuck with 4 jack stands i didnt need

    @ekupa this happened to me too. I had to refuse delivery from the UPS guy. This is why I always try to get stuff from Amazon directly.

    Contemplated buying that but way too big imho. I had the previous version and it doesn't even charge anymore.

    I went with the UE Boom instead from Best Buy. Best money I've spent on a bluetooth speaker. I also have the little square Bose one. The UE boom has an app that allows customization of a EQ amongst other features. It's a bit on the expensive side though. I bought it to try out to see if it was worth the $$$ and I ended up keeping it. The Bose doesn't even come close to the sound and clarity.
