Charcoal bought for the season !!!!

I am not that picky on lump, I think that most are OK.  I have made good cooks with nearly every kind I have tried.  The worst was some Mesquite lump, it was way to strong and bitter, certainly not my favorite.  I had to use some briquettes once when I ran out and thought I had more.  They were a mess, but the cook turned out fine.  Congrats on the charcoal, you will be set for quite a while.

Fyi, half a pallet won't get you to far.  And the Egg season never ends

I really look forward to the day I legit need that much charcoal at once!

@Ozzie_Isaac that's about my average as well. Last month did nearly four twenty pound bags but I was on vacation and cooked two meals a day for ten days.
