Spatchcock Chicken Pizza...first time for me

So my neighbors wanted chicken off the Egg with pineapple pizza. I've never have done a pizza so this was interesting. They ate it all while we set outside enjoying the evening and drinking a few beers. I'll do this again as they ate all my food. The "done" pizza was blurry...sorry.

Hmmm...I can't edit my post the next day? I knew I had an hour but most still let you edit later but put an edit statement at the bottom of your post.

I was going to correct a sentence.

That pizza looks good. Did you make the dough too?

When I first read the thread I thought you cooked a chicken pineapple pizza.  I now see that you cooked a spatchcock chicken and a pizza.  Interesting combo.  Nice job!

Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

I cheated on the dough, I do make my own, but this was from Publix. They make a really decent pizza dough.

My street is a great street, with friendly neighbors, and no one turns anyone in to the HOA unlike many other streets in our development. I have a Garagebar that many stop by to BS and drink beer...and most buy the beer. The fact the weather is usually decent makes for some nice evenings.

I didn't go into detail but I did the chicken at 375 indirect for an hour plus, then cut it up for the meat on the pizza, adding pineapple because a bunch around here like pineapple on their pizza. After the chicken was done I fired up the Egg to 550 and then put the pizza on. We ate the pizza, and the rest of the chicken, and closed up shop when we ran out of beer.
