remodeling our lake house kitchen so I only have the egg's and a small table, not great for staging. Did Salmon, Mahi Mahi, and tilapia fish taco's, honey and dizzy pig for her and blackened for me. A little deer sausage as a side.

Yes, we have a three year plan for a full remodel, the house was built in 79. Sandy bottom by our place, not great fishing but some small cats that makes it fun for kids visiting,XL, 2 Large, Mini -- Shenandoah, TX Now BulletGrillHouse

We also do all the work our selves, but tend to get side tracked after a few rocky tops on the weekends.XL, 2 Large, Mini -- Shenandoah, TX Now BulletGrillHouse

Here's what ours looked like a few weeks ago. It's better today as we have new drywall, paint and wood flooring. Next week - cabinets. No lake though.

If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard... -
Nice. .. shortly my house will be in disarray like that, my wife and I purchased a house made in 1970. The schools are fantastic in the city we purchased in, and really with 3 kids that's what matters the most. Fact is 3 children in private schools was too much money and would always remain approximately the same percentage of our budget. A mortgage will start out at 25% and through pay raises go down through the years, so it made the most sense.
We will be replacing the floors, building a fence for a dog run, and then primarily energy efficient updates like replacing the original forced air furnace, updating single pane windows, then maybe replacing the ducts and adding an AC unit.
I am excited. -
Redid our kitchen a while back. A pain during the construction, but well worth it! Set up the camping stove and grill on the patio and pretended to be camping while waiting for the kitchen to be finished.

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself. -
