greetings friends...
i like the the handle that comes on the BGE, and I love the custom ones. But, I always wanted a handle that incorporated a mount for the Maverick in mine. I can never figure out where to put then transmitter and it always falls or gets in the way. Or something the comes attached to the lower band... You get the idea...
Are there features or ideas you have to make your Egg better for you?

Hmm, I will have to think about this. I know I have my egg in a steel table. My digi-Q stand would slide easily if any pressure was applied to any of the wires. so I added some magnetic tape to the bottom of the stand and now it stays in place much better.

OK, thinking done, I wish they made a rotisserie for my BGE.
Then I could cook raised direct and have even charring on the outside of a roast. The 2 main things I still use my gasser for are, quick grilling of hamburgers, and my rotisserie. If I want some smoke, I use a smoker box in the gasser for the first hour, then turn off the bottom burner and switch to the direct heat back burner for the remainder of the cook. Occasionally, I will use my gasser for cooking fish on cedar planks.

Better yet, good tasting low calorie meat so I could eat more of what I cook without turning myself into a beached whale.DaveRichardson said:Time Machine so I could cook on it even more!

After doing Car Wash Mikes ribs the other day I lamented the temp rise I got opening the lid while spritzing, I thought it'd be slick to add a couple of well placed fuel injectors piped to a pump and my apple cider vinegar/apple juice. Silly I know but I do hate opening the egg..plus it would look like an EEG setup with all the tubing, cyberQ wires etc. lolLBGE, AR. Lives in N.E. ATL

I recently added a spider and 13" stone to my AR. I did this primarily to use his 14" drip pan because crafting a drip pan around that oblong steel frame is a PITA
Really wish Tom could source a proper drip pan to match his R&B oblong stoneLBGE, AR. Lives in N.E. ATL
