Pork shoulder pre game

I'm doing a 7.5lb pork shoulder turbo tomorrow. I've already rubbed her down and I would like to try injecting it. My question is should I inject it tonight or wait until it's closer to cooking time?

Never injected a butt. Have done a ham. If you do inject I'd think that doing it before and wrapping it tight in saran wrap would be the way to go. Otherwise you might have a bunch leak out. At least if it's wrapped it stays on the meat if not in it.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

I've cooked Lilly's pork butt several times. My preference is to not use as much salt in the injection as he calls for, otherwise, love it! The rub he makes up is also my go to.
