Thursday Night Cook - First Cook Post

Raised Direct Chicken Breast and Pork Loin Roast, glazed with sesame ginger sauce. I cooked these using my newest Eggccessory, "The Raiser" by Innovations by Chance. I rubbed with a little Tony Chachere's and Blues Hog Original, then put on on a 325 deg fire with a little Pecan for smoke.
Finished by glazing with a little sauce I put together using Hoisin, Soy, Honey, Ginger Paste, Sambal Oelek, and Sesame. Plated with short grain sticky rice, sugar snap peas, and simple salad with Ginger dressing. The wife and kids all enjoyed, so I'm considering it a success for a weeknight cook.
Thanks all for looking!

I always thought my first cook post would be something more involved than this weeknight throw-together, but I need the posts, so here goes nothing! I only had two hours to get dinner ready and the family fed before the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame took the basketball court, so no plated pics for me this time. Despite my "newbie" status, I do know that I need to include one pic or it simply did not happen!

Family compliments are the litmus test. My wife is raving about my ribs & wings/burgers. (I think she's just thrilled to not be getting takeout or microwave - she has medical issues and can't easily cook for us any longer )

Welcome aboard and enjoy the journey. Great cook right there-and with the family seal of approval you are home-free.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
