If the spices were actually good, they wouldn't have to come up with a clever name.

I guess no spice blends are good then. They all have silly/clever names.DoubleEgger said:If the spices were actually good, they wouldn't have to come up with a clever name. -

My mother-in-law received 3 (of the spices) for a present. I used them on my last visit. They were fine, but I didn't find anything particularly interesting: one was like a generic seasoned salt; one was like a generic seasoned salt with lots of red pepper added; and one was like a generic seasoned salt with lots of sugar added.
In dog beers, I've only had one.

Sounds like they're the same ol ****

So, should they not sell it at all, or keep it at the register?berndcrisp said:SHAME on the grocery store for openly displaying such a vulgarity to children, this will only reaffirm to them that use of profanity is socially acceptable.
I can see it now...
Ahhh... Hi, I'd like to buy some of that rub.
What rub son?
Ahhh... you know, the stuff you, ahhh, keep behind the counter like you do the Playboy magazines and stuff.
Son, you're gonna have to tell me exactly WHAT you're gonna rub it on...
Ahhh... ummm... I wanna rub it on my meat.
Son, you're gonna have to be a bit more specific here...
NEVER MIND!! FORGET IT!! (as he runs out the door)
So the manager asks the cashier what that was all about and she sez "I don't know. the guy said he wanted some rub but didn't specify which one chicken, beef, pork... and when I asked him, he freaked out.
