I'm in the same boat. Don't take this the wrong way, but I feel more like a fraternity pledge than a member of the forum. I've spent thousands of dollars on grills and accouterments, but can't be trusted just yet without 250+ posts.
Don't get me wrong @cazzy, I completely respect your contributions, but expect to see some gratuitous posts from me! As I watched the awesome exchange last year I told my wife I definitely wanted to participate next time! -
The 250 is a metric to weed out the riff-raff. Last year a guy got hosed.
If you have issues with the metric then propose a different one or PM @cazzy and talk to him and see if he will make an exception.
The 250 seems totally reasonable though. The board becomes better when more people participate and if you don't participate then your not helping the board.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.
