Gourmet Ceramic Grater

Pick these up a couple of weeks ago at the Home and Garden show, typical hack with a microphone headset demoing them. I was amazed how well they worked and have not been disapointed at home either. Work great for making paste from garlic, ginger, jalapenos, grating hard cheese. The tube peels garlic cloves in seconds by just sticking them inside, pressing down and rolling for a couple of seconds. They come out clean as a baby's butt.

Those ceramic graters can be found in Asian supermarkets, possibly for cheaper than what folks at expos sell them for. I think the original Japanese ones are made with shark skin or something. Works very well for ginger and garlic.
