Oh man does that look good! I've heard good things about the meat church 'holy cow' but haven't got around to using it yet. I hope that tasted as good as it looks!

It was a great steak. One of the best I've ever cooked.McKinney, TX

I've got to decide to try Meat church or go with another order from dizzy pig. I only have so much room for my rubs/seasonings and if I go over SWMBO will start eliminating at random....I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

I cooked NY strips from Costco last night, but went with Choice vs. prime. Still tasted great, hard to beat.Franklin, TN - (1) LBGE and a cooler full of beer

@beatarmy: there's no clear cut difference actually. the range of "choice" will include some that are essentially prime grade anyway. and prime graded meats will have low end stuff closer to choice.
i think you get more flavor aging choice at home than you do chasing down prime. in fresh meat, all the flavor is from fat, which is why prime is the big deal of course.
but if you age, even wet age, you have flavors that aren't available in prime meat.

I had two choices at Costco, Prime and Choice The look of this batch of prime caught my eye. Normally Choice is a great way to go.McKinney, TX
