I have some friends whose family owns a hog farm and they gave us some pork burgers. They are awesome. Seasoned with DP Swamp Venom and cooked raised direct at 400* These have goat cheese, pickles, bbq sauce, and Louisiana Hot Sauce. Amazing.

In Manchester, TN

I have to chime in here as Pork Burgers are a comfort food here! Difference is we have a packing house that makes the best GROUND pork burgers! In fact their claim to fame is that years ago the Illinois Pork Producers asked them to create a burger that would promote ground pork and do so in a consistant patty which they could sell all over Illinois at fairs, car shows, home builders shows - anywhere hungry people would show up!
I egg ours direct at 350-375 for 4/4/2. The raw burger has DP Raging River rub. The final 2 is when I add a piece of pepper jack cheese to melt on. Then I bring them in, add onions grilled in butter and hit with garlic salt. Then on to a bun with a favorite home made BBQ sauce. Talk ABOUT heaven on earth!!! WOWSER!!!

Wow, RRP. The family I am friends with has a farm in Illinois. The daughter lives here in Manchester, TN but her Dad runs the farm in IL. She brings some down sometimes. I had them for the first time at their house cooked on a gasser a couple years ago but last time her mom and dad came to visit they brought me some. They are really really good, especially on the Egg.In Manchester, TNVol For Life!

Tasty!! Love Louisiana hot sauce on anything smoked!!!! Mix 3 parts of BBQ sauce 1part LA hot sauce!! Doubles as a quick ulcer check too - tastes better than going to the Drs.Large

No! they are made and sold in a difficult and COLD place called Raber's down on Farmington Road in West Peoria. You have to watch for their small sign on the right side of the road right after you cross the rail road track. The stock car track is on the left side and if you start going up the steep part of Farmington Road then you missed Raber's!!!saluki2007 said:@RRP where do you get the pork burgers? Alwan's?
Take a coat to wear inside even if it is summer! I'm dead serious!!!
The pork burgers are to the right inside in a case and run about $14+ for a big frozen roll. BTW I do NOT recommend their roll of hamburgers!
You don't need to carry a gun and don't be creeped out by the location nor the customers! You do have some missing teeth don't you? LOL

Seriously though be sure to bring a coat! They typically have many people working but the place does a lot of business. There is only one cash register so sometimes there is a wait and they keep it really REALLY cold in there year around!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time -
@saluki2007 prolly your sister. Talk to Henapple about that.

next time your in there take a good look at the floor, a place here froze the ground down to about 20 feet deep and the floor upheaved a foot or two in a couple places, we made a piping system to slip underneath to heat the ground area back enough to lower the floor back in place. couldnt imagine working in a place like that day to dayRRP said:

fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it -
Will do! It is covered with saw dust and all the employees wear full length white coats and under them Cargil winter coats or similar. Can't see their feet but I'm sure they wear insulated boots. Funny thing it is in a flood plain and outside the front door they have painted the depth and year of various floods.fishlessman said:
