1st Attempt Spatchcock Chicken

Did my 1st Chicken -cooked a little too long temp was over target 165 and 180. Still good and juicy, used a coffee rub. Being the initial/virgin run of the egg I am satisfied. Photos attached. Thanks for all the advice earlier today, also the bride and I did not use forks!!! Egging rocks.

Look how pretty the inside of that egg looks! You'd better save that picture because it sure won't look that clean for long.
Nice looking cook too. I always have been meaning to try a coffee rub on a spatchcock, but only seem to think to use it when I'm cooking a brisket or other types of beef.
