Bacon wrapped Goat cheese stuffed dates

The wife and I tried these over the weekend. Having had some similar at a local eatery we thought it should not be to hard to copy. They were very good. Full write up on her blog here.

yep - those are good!  I did some a while ago stuffed with blue cheese and marcona almonds.  I couldn't eat more than a couple, but they were sooo good.  The dates turn out like candy.

Looks great. Try adding some Dizzy Pig Pineapple Head to the goat cheese.

Thanks guys. I highly recommend them, they make a great appetizer. I will follow the suggestion of spicing up the goat cheese for next time for sure.

These are probably one of our favorites however I use smoked gouda just because it holds up to the heat a little better, these and MPD's are the stuff. These look awesome!
