Tough these days, especially with a little one, plus my wife is a teacher which means school isn't out for break yet. Not sure if my wife would classify this as "fun" too.theyolksonyou said:

If you just want to show up and eat then you get a taster ticket...then show up and eat! This particular fest is BYOB last I checked.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
We're planning on making this one. Hopefully camper in tow!!!Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

Can't cook this year but hoping to bring our little girl to her first fest. Gonna be nice to just walk around and taste again.

I'd really like to go to this. I think it is only about 3 hours from here. Just not sure of what lies ahead for my triathlon training / racing and my daughter's soccer season.
I won't be able to go and cook but I'd love to go and taste and just enjoy a weekend away. What all do you do there besides EAT? I mean, I'm all in for some food and drink but are there classes or other Eggthings to do?

They do have classes at 11, 12, 1, and 2. There are also vendors there so you can shop for egg stuff. It is a really pretty area in the mountains and surrounded by lakes/rivers so there are plenty of outdoor attractions (hiking, fishing, rafting, etc). Brasstown Bald is not far from there, which is the highest point in GA.Chicklet said:I'd really like to go to this. I think it is only about 3 hours from here.
