Well that fork through the finger thing is a bit disturbing. Not sure the point of that.

Wow, I guess THEbuckeye probably doesn't live by the 5-second rule either, if seeing a fork upsets her that much. I'm a backpacker, only God knows how much dirt I have eaten as a result of eating in the great outdoors. I'm a firm believer in if you try to avoid every possible germ in life, your immune system will be so weak, you can't fight off normal germs. I've passed a whiskey bottle around, lots of germ spreading going on there, although drunk germs usually don't make me get sick. I've cooked steaks on raw granite sitting in a campfire. Used a little beer to wash off the dirt & pine needles before cooking.

I guess that is my assumption based on the comments about a dirty fork, one that has already been in someones mouth. Cuz even licked clean, it still has someone's microorganisms left on it. If you aren't a germophobe and willing would eat something from a loved ones fork, why the extreme objection to a picture of food with a fork on the plate?THEBuckeye said:@Zmokin
