Dinner Party for 6 this weekend....

Have some friends coming over this weekend, there will be 6 adults total and a lot of kiddos that are picky eaters and probably won't want what's coming off the egg. I've done a lot of BB Ribs, pork and steaks that are all great but want to mix it up and do something that will impress these guys.
Anybody got any suggestions for recipes that will show these guys what the BGE is all about?

Prime Rib. Here's a boneless ribeye roast I did last weekend.

I hope you really like the guests...last time I made prime rib for 6, it was a $200 hunk of meat. I did buy too much, but it aint cheap.

We got a great deal on a prime rib roast at Costco last week. Easy, Delicious, Beautiful, Leftovers. What more could one ask for?

I agree, check Cosco. The one posted above was purchased was a choice grade 17.4# boneless ribeye roast still in the cryo for $7.39/lb. I split it, the piece above was 10.4#, the other 7# is dry aging in the fridge. If you don't like dry aged, you can slice the extra into steaks and freeze immediately.They/Them

You can always do some pizzas, you can do a baked spaghetti, pepper stout beef, cook on the wok. Let us know what you decide-- If prime rib doesn't make the menuColumbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013

They're extended family so I guess I have to like them... I'll check out Costco or maybe check my local butcher and try to get a smaller piece maybe 3-4 lbs.TheShaytoon said:I hope you really like the guests...last time I made prime rib for 6, it was a $200 hunk of meat. Great photos... I like the grilled romaine too, it's been awhile since I've done that, so good. I would do it with blue cheese and bacon jelly... that may be move on to the menu for this weekend.tarheelmatt said:I cooked a standing rib roast Saturday as well...
