I just wanted to say a special thanks to Lawn Ranger for taking the time and making such cool tools for me. One of kind great work! They are hitting the road with me for a mini max lunch at the office as dinner was just to long away.

I thought the same thing but the way the woo sits in the mini max seems to keep all the crud off. Inside the dome and top of the fire rind are solid black. @NDG the cork is used so when you are cooking on a raised grid you don't accidental stab your temp probe into your meal and get a false readingHermosa Beach CA

Extremely Happy with the MM today cook went well 18 LBS of asada and 5 LBS of chicken cooked on the MM in about 2:15 min everything was cooked at about 400 as there was so much to cook. It was a bit much as my timing was an issue but all in all finished strong.

Congrats on the successful cook on the MM at the office. Lawn Ranger makes some awesome wood utensils as well. Ditto to Mickey's comments about Mike.
