Alabama White Sauce

Anybody have a good recipe for Alabama White sauce for chicken?? I've seen it a few times on cooking shows but haven't come up with a tried and true recipe yet.

Google Paula Deens white sauce recipe. I've never had the original, but this is pretty darn good.

I bought a bottle of this white sauce from Jim and Nicks, while visiting Birmingham. Sorry for the dumb question, but do you put the sauce on the chicken while still grilling, or at the table?

On the table, it is more of a dip.

I believe the chicken is traditionally dunked in the sauce when the chicken comes straight from the grill, and then served.
