Is This a Real Egg?
Is this for real? It's red.

If it's red no. Unless it's spray painted. I don't see a pic but they've only been green and a small run of blue eggs"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

If it is red it is likely a Kamado Joe.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I'm sorry folks, but it seems the link to CL in Atlanta doesn't work or copying a picture from the ad.

During my very first visit to the mothership store in 1975 (GT Freshman), I saw two colors of eggs - green and a reddish brown. I bought a small green one a couple of weeks later. Several others since.
Reminiscing... driving north on Buford Hwy, windows down. Suddenly my virginal whiff of Butt on the Egg. Car veered severely left across 4 lanes of traffic and settled down in a parking lot with four or five eggs out front of THE STORE - breaking every EPA regulation now on the books. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.........................

Yes! How did you do that? lol. I know how to copy and paste and for some reason I could not do that here. Thank you all for doing it for me. I really feel stupid at the moment. lol.

That certainly looks familiar!!! What a color.
I would pay for one of the original grid tools. Sweet and simple - a three pronged fork (two up and the center down). I gave one of mine to my Dad with my first LBGE - he passed away in '12 and it slipped thru the cracks.... Great Guy, Great American, Great Patriot and most of all super Dad.

sometimes the forum is fickle with links. What browser are you using? Literally just copied the URL form the address line and pasted. Using ipad and Chrome.@MediumRarely WHat's the good word?

@LadyGT Actually you have 60 minutes to edit after posting. After that the concrete dries!LadyGT said:I'm sorry folks, but it seems the link to CL in Atlanta doesn't work or copying a picture from the ad.

Definitely skip the clay cooker if interested in purchasing. Especially for $500!!!! Other members have picked up the exact same clay cookers at yard sales for $20"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

HBTD's? POE!
Of course now I have mellowed in my old age and am just happy to smell the smoke and give the Dawg a bone!

Just to be clear (crystal) - that "clay cooker" is indeed an antique BGE.

That was a pretty cool thread. I'd be afraid to cook in it and that it might break. Sure looks nice though.L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN! -
I also have an old BGE that is red that was purchased from the Buford Highway store. The firebox was pretty well crumbled and the guys at the Mothership gave me a small firebox under warranty and said to try it and see if it would fit. It went right in and I used it about a week ago.

If it's red....leave it in the shed. Sorry had to do that.
