Tri-tip - taking the pressure off of @theyolksonyou

Since Yolk won't be able to get around to that tri-tip for a few days still (I think he may have run out of lump after the weekend egg-a-thon), I'm going to jump in and cook one tonight.
After trimming, it's about 2 lbs and not very thick so it should cook quickly.
Rubbed heavily with smoked paprika and DP Raising the Steaks, wrapped and back into the fridge for a while.

Thanks buddy. The wife is MAKING me wok tonight. Firing up now. Never fear there's at least a hundred pounds of lump in the basement.

Right on, if I'm not eating one, I enjoy others eating them almost as much. I flip seared my last one, then finished it off at around 130-135 internal, some like it bloodier, it was still great, checking back for the $$.

Love it! I would be right there with you, that wouldn't stop me. I was enjoying reading all of the blizzard-prep posts and thought I'd join in - in a southern/mild kind of way. BTW, for all of you middle of the country/east coast earthquake fans, remember, you don't get fair warning, you have to already have your bread and milk!FlashkaBob said:Legume Said:"Stay safe and warm if you're in the NE.
