Midnight Brats after 85mph drive

Very long day today(yesterday). I'm a day sleeper so the yesterday's, today's and tomorrow's are really confusing. Plus, you guys are all in different time zones to make it even more confusing. Maybe the forum should start using Zulu Time for references so people don't get confused. Anyway, my day started by driving 330 miles for a doctors appointment. Not quite as bad as it seems, we have an 80mph speed limit and no construction this time of year. Set the cruise at 85mph and a guy has no problems. After the appointment my son met me for dinner at one of my favorite chain steak houses. The steaks are just not the same after eating grass-finished beef the last 6 months. The seasoning was good as always and it was cooked perfect, but it's just not the same.

It was really awesome that my son drove to Cheyenne from Laramie to have dinner with me. After dinner I started back home. Almost zero traffic, literally there was almost zero traffic. I drove a 75 mile stretch in which I didn't even see a single vehicle in either direction. Home at midnight. You know what that means. Midnight madness.

The temp was 20° with zero wind and a crystal clear sky (the iPhone doesn't shoot the stars, so no pics). Way too nice not to Egg some food. Lots of verbiage just to post a simple cook. But thought I'd share my day.
