Looks like a great time. I must know- how was the chicken nugget pie? My kids would be all over that. Did you use Polynesian sauce instead of tomato sauce?Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Blake, that's awesome!!
@smokeypitt, the chicken nugget pizza was good, needed more chicken and sauce! Used chik-fil-a sauce*

Great idea. Some nice looking pies there. I like the clam pie and the one that looks like it had mushrooms and sausage on it.
I'll have to look up the deep dish method again as I know it has been discussed before. I'm surprised that comes out so nice with a CI that hasn't been preheated. Maybe that's better as if it were hot the outsides would cook long before the inside was done.
How did the parchment paper work out? Did you use it to transport to the stone and then quickly pull it or leave it for the duration? I have found that once the paper burns (higher temp cooks) then it crumbles when you try to remove it.

I'll take 4 large orders of nuggets, and 18 packs of chick-fil-a sauce please.fusionhq said:Blake, that's awesome!!

@KiterTodd I was having the same issue with parchment and started trimming it close to the crust so it was on the stone and that was much better. May have to lift the edge slightly and be quick about it.

trim the parchment to near the size of the pizza, and pull it out once it's easy to remove...the crust will start taking form, and it's easier to get out. It usually stays under my pies for about 2-3minutes.
