Had tamales made from my deer....

I wish I would have taken a picture, I got a 150qt cooler so full that the lid wouldnt shut and a bout a 2'square box a foot deep filled with deer tamales vac packed in dozens. I also got a box of Jap and cheese sausage and a box of 2 lb packs of bacon burger. OMG it was a lot, If I kill another one I will have to eat it on the spot.

Did they shred the venison for the tamales? My wife's side of the family used to make them for Christmas yearly. Now that the children are grown I think they may buy them local now (in CO).
