Elk Ribs?
Mayberry
Posts: 751
I buddy brought me a rack of elk ribs to cook and I'm trying to figure out how. They are frozen, so I can't really check for fat content. Would they be good on the Egg, or better in an oven or braised in a crock pot? Open to suggestions. Don't want to mess them up.

Posted this right after New Year and didn't get a reponse. Seemed to be a slow day on here. Anyone have suggestions on how to cook elk?Athens, GA

I have no idea, but this might be a clue (assuming venison is similar to elk).It seems @Tarheelmat had some success and there is a link to that discussion.@RickyBobby did not think they fikkin rocked
. Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
