Duroc Pork Chop

A couple of weeks ago, I had an oven-seared thick Duroc pork chop at the Maplewood Grill in Vienna, VA. Wow! That was the kind of pork I grew up with, when pork was a red rather than white meat. Does anyone here have any experience with ordering Duroc pork chops or other cuts online? I can definitely see this as something that would be good to have for special occasions.

Sounds like a ham steak. We have Duroc pork here in KC in the grocery stores and it is normal white pork and very flavorful. I like Duroc pork ribs. They are meter and have the membrane already removed. Now I two the best pork chops ever at a Piropos Argentine restaurant NYE. Tender and juicy.XL, WSM, Coleman Road Trip Gas GrillKansas City, Mo.
