Peter Luger Steak Sauce on Prime Rib?

Anyone ever tried this?  My wife gave me a couple bottles as an early Christmas present.  I’m doing a prime rib tomorrow for Christmas dinner and was thinking about serving the PL sauce in a small crockpot to go with the prime rib.  I was thinking it would pair well with the meat since it has a distinct horseradish flavor like a traditional prime rib sauce…and it’s something different.  Thoughts?

I bought a bottle a few weeks back to try. It was different. I myself was going to try some on my Prime rib tomorrow, since I don't like horseradish. Merry Christmas to you and good luck with your cook!

I like the sauce- it is sweeter than I usually like but I think it actually works well. Would be different than the typical aus jus- if you like it I say give it a go.

i dont use it on beef but really like it on tomatoes, cukes, and on peel and eat boiled shrimp. it tastes like a shrimp cocktail sauce to me.

I think it's a bit too sweet for my tastes, I like bold, savory spices on beef.

If you like it, put it on... if you're feeding guests, give them a choice. (I put horse radish on prime rib)
