Ground Venison - Do you blend it with beef? Recipe Tips?

Someone gave me a couple pounds of ground venison. I confirmed that it doesn't already have anything added to it.
I've heard in the past that if you are making burgers some people will mix it with ground beef to add a little fat to the mix.
Just curious what you'd recommend to make some basic burgers for the family. I probably won't do a lot with it other than burgers, unless you have a must-make meal...

go get yourself a couple packs of cheap bacon and run it through the grinder, I love me some venison bacon burger

You definitely need to add fat. The ground pork sounds like a good idea.Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here. Very Extremely Stable Genius.

Locals will get beef fat trimmings from the butcher (free) and add it during the grinding to a 85/15 blend. Makes for great burgers and meatloaf.Hood Stars, Wrist Crowns and Obsession Dobs!
