Took the advice...the Large is here in the Garagebar tonight

I received a lot of good advice, thanks everyone, as to what size my first Egg should be for my use. The large seemed to be the best choice so tonight it was delivered and assembled.
I hope to "break" it in tomorrow, weather is suppose to be nice, and then will do chicken quarters as the first thing to eat from it.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow.

Did a double-take when your thread popped up. My son's egg was delivered last night and was left in the garage. I thought it was his thread and he'd goofed in the title. See, he took the advice of this forum and ended up with an XL.

Yes. I'm not bad at the mechanics but I have no rhythm. My son can play anything, mostly heavy metal, but I struggle...so go figure. We have five people on my block who are excellent guitar players, and played in bands, with one guy who played with Phil Haley and the Comets. Where are you located? I see you have some cigar city action in there which makes me think you're close to Tampa. The large is probably the only good advise you'll get on this forum. The rest is how to spend money you should be saving for retirement.Dunedin, FL

I'm on the west coast about an hour north of Tampa. It's an old fishing area. And I'm already retired as I don't have a job. I do fish a couple times a week though.We have a beer store down the road who stocks some really decent beers. Welcome. Sure would suggest you invest in a "Handler" for your Large to really help insure the moving of it. Have two Larges and both have Handlers. They are about $70 +\-. Note the rear of the Eggs.
Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd. -
Does the "Handler" offset the weight?I'm not having an issue moving it in and out of the Garagebar but then again it isn't like I've done it more than a couple times.BillFrom the deep south...land of saltwater fish...west central Florida
