    Every year I make the food of the city the Super Bowls being played in. This year is Soul Food !!--Lots & Lots of ribs, fried chicken, bbq'd chicken, greens, black eyed peas, cornbread, mac & cheese, red beans & rice and gumbos. Any other suggestions? See-Yaa P.S. we also have lots of other kinds of food just in case. We usually have about 150-200 people for the party.

    LoveHandles,[p]I think you should add some Coney dogs and Gyros. There are little greasy spoon restaurants all around the metro area that serve both of those things.[p]E

    mad max beyond eggdome,[p]My regular crowd is going to the desert with their toys, so I'm not hosting a party this year. The watering hole is hosting a pot luck so I was drafted to bring the "Q". Here's the plan:[p]8+ Lbs Pulled Pork with three sauce options
    Bonesmokers Barbecued Beans
    ABT's with Queso Enchilado and Raging River Rub
    6 racks of Dr. BBQ's Competition Ribs (Time allowing)[p]Have to replace my gasket too.

If you showed up here with all that, you would get adopted.[p]The regulars want me to bring ribs, but I'm either going to smoke a bunch of fatties or do a couple of brisket flats with prepared horseradish dumped on the top for the finish when I foil 'em. Oh yeah, just one kind of sauce. I'll call it "Ooh-ooh Baby".[p]~thirdeye~

    mad max beyond eggdome,[p]I have actually been lured out of my batcave for the super bowl! Guess it's a heck of alot easier than hosting for sure. But the host has asked me to bring my "Chipotle Pork Tartlet's"[p]Take some stock pile of pulled pork and chop fairly fine. Saute up some finely chopped onion and garlic. Throw in the pork crank up the heat to brown / crisp it up. Then use either Rotel / mild or chopped up whole tomotoes. For the kicker add in a couple of blended up chipotle pepper to taste. Season as desired. Get a bag of those tostito scoop things line em up on a baking tray scoop in a little of the pork mixture into each one top with some cheese and throw them in the oven till they look just right![p]Kinda time consuming as they will be consumed quickly![p]Greg

I think I'm going to have around 20 long-suffering fans still trying to think of a menu but I need to widdle down the 30 or so things I have in my head.[p]The one thing I know for sure is that we'll be enjoying the Colonel's pulled pork and BBQ sauce! Thanks again, Greg![p]Really want to do the good Dr.'s Championship ribs but I don't know how I'll make enough to feed everyone on my large and medium. [p]Looking just at the numbers this should be an exceptional Superbowl.[p]Go Hawks!
