Shortly after I posted that I headed into town and saw 2 more gassers at the curb in the next subdivision over! 6 within a half mile radius! And no this was not a special garbage pick up day!

    Winter isn't brutal, it's fun! D

@Eggcelsior Maybe you should seek help.   :))

A coupla decades ago, when my body allowed me to ski, I might've agreed with you.  Those days are gone.

We have a big honking snow-thrower, all-wheel drive vehicles, warm clothing, whiskey - alla that stuff.  That doesn't erase the truth:  Winter sucks.

And, trust me.  Nebraska winters are brutal.

Hahaha. I have everything but the snow thrower. I am trying everything in my power to get my wife to move to New England but I can't convince her. Cold, snow, and wind are my favorite. I should work for the postal service.

A damn good day for your local scrapper.  I would've pulled over on that big Weber grill and gave it a once over. lol

  • I never find anything good on the curb here in central Texas. You could take a huge stinking dump on the side of the road and someone would pick it up.
That's hilarious!  My MIL likes to go "curbside shopping" and sell her treasures at flea markets.  I've said she's gonna find something unpleasant one of these days like a body.  A stinking dump would be an unpleasant surprise as well.

This thread reminds me of the one "when are you going to start drinking?" starting assumes there was prior stoppage. Grilling never stops. We simply adapt to the elements and consult our brethren to the north for advice on thawing frozen egg parts.
