I applied john Henry's Texas pig rub last night. I was thinking of injecting it with dr pepper, any thoughts? Has anyone tried dr pepper, or coke before?

    I will be interested in seeing what others say on this.  May have to give it a try with positive responses.  Never tried this before but I have made BBQ sauce out of both.  The Dr. Pepper was better fwiw.

    never injected with coke/Dr.P only with apple/white grape mixed with a seasoning mix I got at the BBQ supply store.
