Are the hard boiled? Or pickled?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

Just where does one buy quail eggs? I didn't ask where they are found...I understand that part!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Asian stores sell them for about $3 for 18. Trendy stores sell them for $9. If you can plan ahead, get them at least a week before you plan to boil (3 minutes) and peel. They have thicker membranes than chicken eggs and can be tricky to peel.*******Owner of a large and a beloved mini in Philadelphia

Nice idea. I have been known to taking quail eggs preboiled in a can from an oriental grocer and placing in pickling spices, vinegar and green food coloring and serving at eggfests as baby eggs.
