Have a local dealer selling 20 lb bags for $15 per bag. Your thoughts on this price?
LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI.

If it wasn't for my BGE I'd have no use for my backyard...

I ordered it right before @hapster sent me a bag of Ozark Oak and a bag of Rockwood from the rub and sauce exchange. I just finished the OO and I think I will try it next. (OO was pretty sweet)

That is pretty good for a single bag. I use Humphrey exclusively and it is great lump. I buy in bulk from Humphrey. The last buy we did we got it for about 9.50/bag.Mark Annville, PA

Holy cow @cortguitarman! How many bags you gotta buy to get a price like that? Was that the cost w/ shipping?LBGE (still waitin' for my free T-Shirt), DIgiQ DX2 (In Blue, cause it's the fastest), Heavy Duty Kick Ash Basket, Mc Farland, WI.

That was the cost with shipping! I bought 4 pallets...120 bags. I always buy a pallet for myself and others on the forum and local friends buy the rest. I live in PA and Humphrey is headquartered in PA so that saves some shipping cost. I also have it delivered to a trucking terminal where I pick it up. Even with less pallets, the cost has been very reasonable. I believe the first time we ordered we did 2 pallets and it was around $14 per bag.Mark Annville, PA

I'm one of the people that is part of the @cortguitarman group buy. I have always been happy with Humphrey charcoal and it is all I use. The latest price was excellent and picking it up at the truck terminal means it gets less handling on the way to me which results in bigger pieces and less dust.

I was on the last Humphrey group buy and gotta say it is some of the best Charcoal I have used. The price was ridiculous for quality, and is easily worth $15/bag. My only regret is that I didn't get more of it!Mechanicsburg, PA

I used Humphrey and that is a decent price. It does burn a little hot though. I ran through my 2 bags rather quickly. I say give it a shot. At that price I think its worth it.

@XC242, you're going to think I'm stalking you (haha). I'd love to pick some of that up and give it a run. Where did you find it?
